After Eastonn8 successfully created the first Pokemon Division back in December 2016, 13thShade took over his Command position of 10th Division in September 2017. About a month later, on October 13th, 10th Division managed to successfully split which led to the birth of 17th Division. Against all odds they managed to create a second Division, which not only stabilized their position in DI, but also greatly influenced their activity in terms of members and events. Working together like clockwork, they managed to get 100+ members and conquer the #3 spot of most played game in DI. Unfortunately, despite its early success it became harder to recruit and remain compliant down the road. After struggling for several months, it was decided to unite both Pokemon Divisions under one strong core. As 10th Division had been struggling as well, 17th Division, under leadership of Nitro, added their teams under 10th's banner on June 1st, marking the end of Pokemon's history in DI-XVII.

The next chapter opens in June 2018 with the return of Prophet. Coming in 1st Place in the Top Recruiters Standings of that month, he managed to make good on a promise. While initially trying to break in to the EU Nordic & East region of League of Legends, seeing as the recruiting boards were merged they went for EUW instead. Nevertheless, he pulled off to successfully grow his Venture which achieved Division Status on July 1st – earning him an Eden Triumph and marking the fifth League of Legends Division in DI. With no one initially leading it, StripTheFlesh stepped up to help out. Having previously spent 3 months as Commander of 2nd Division, he was up for the task to oversee this new Division. Bringing in many new faces and organizing the Division's rosters, 17th rose to 75+ members and doubled its activity levels in August - continuing to provide an environment for both the casual and competitive player.
