In early November of 2016, Eastonn8 founded a venture of DI’s first and only non-PC game: anything and everything in the Pokemon franchise. Against all odds, he successfully achieved Division status on December 2nd. With the help of his Vice, Shadowfox98, 10th Division won the on-going Clan Competition (OP New Blood II, a recruiting competition) and thus gained their first triumph on January 1st, 2017. While 10th Division struggled and stagnated in numbers for the next few months, Eastonn8 managed to bring in future key contributors like Telfer, Claduva, Ketchupplant and TheLoneEagle. Together, they kept the Division alive and began to expand. Telfer spearheaded a highly successful Pokemon Showdown server, Claduva achieved third place in a national competition with over 40.000 competitors, and Ketchupplant led DI Pokemon’s competitive efforts with his online ladder prowess by repeatedly placing in the Top 50 with multiple accounts and building teams for former world champions. Despite their success, maintaining compliance was an incredible struggle, with 10th often staying just above the minimum 20 members to maintain Division status.
In April 2017, a new recruit joined who ultimately revitalized a stagnant 10th Division. Reluctant to lead but eager to impress, 13thShade came in to a Division with 19 members on the MDR and the same 5 members on TeamSpeak daily. He quickly re-ignited the Pokemon Repository Project and attempted to invigorate the Division with new recruits. Between Shade, Eagle, and Easton’s recruiting efforts, 10th Division slowly climbed to 30+ members but couldn’t quite get over the hump. With DI's overall rapid growth in 2017, Eastonn8 was appointed to House General of House Trident in July, thus promoting Telfer to Commander and 13thShade as Vice. Slowly but surely 10th Division climbed higher and higher, breaking the 40 member threshold for the first time and delving into new exploits like a shiny hunting team.
During this time, Ketchupplant reached 4th in the World Cup, bringing glory to DI and 10th Division in a critical time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all good for 10th Division. During August of 2017, they dropped from 50 members back to 31, and it all once again hung in the balance. Inspired and ready to make 10th fly high, 13thShade took over command of 10th Division on September 1st. Getting back from 31 to 54 members in his first weekend, 13thShade established new teams in various regions and ventured into Pokken Tournaments for the first time. On October 14th, Shade and his Vice, Nitro, were ready to split their Division and form DI-XVII. With DrPhilandChill appointed as his new Vice, Shade quickly managed to get 10th back to 60+ members. Together with its counterpart, led by Nitro, they managed to get 100+ members and conquer the #3 spot of most played games in DI at the time - even if for a moment. With 13thShade appointed as Commander of the Order of Imperium in January 2018 and DrPhilandChill following as Officer Instructor, 10th Division degraded to sub 40 members and rotated rapidly through Division Commanders in the months following.
As 17th Division had been struggling to remain compliant too, it was decided to merge both Pokemon Divisions to form one united core. Under leadership of Nitro, 17th Division moved its teams to 10th Division on June 1st. Hoping to restore Pokemon to its former glory, it still holds the glorious title as the first non-PC game in DI’s lineup, leading the march into the future.
Easton began his journey with Damage Inc in October 2016. With his innovation and relentless drive, he shaped the 10th Division to what it is today. Raising it up from venture to the honorable status of Division, Easton instituted the Pokemon Repository Project, a one-of-a-kind article library, piloted a Draft League, and gave a clear vision for what Pokemon in DI looks like. He trained several generations of officers to great honors, and led the Division to a nearly unbroken streak of at least 1 initiate receiving honors. After serving as Division Commander for 7 months, and receiving the coveted Commander's Coat of Arms, Easton went on to Command Legion Trident where due to his extraordinary commitment to the Legion Commander position he definitely excelled in. Easton is and will remain by far one of the most memorable Legion Commanders DI ever had. He was given a Legion that was struggling on all fronts, but managed to rally up the Commanders and bring Legion Trident to the healthy spot it's sitting in today. Building his own legacy, Easton's mark on 10th Division and Damage Inc. will be remembered as one of the greats.
In his time as Commander of 10th Division, 13thShade has consistently demonstrated outstanding officer qualities and overall leadership. He set an example for others to follow, maintained high standards within his Division, navigated a complicated Division split to continue growing Pokemon’s presence in DI and contributed significantly to Officer discussions on Clan policy continuously demonstrating his willingness to help make this clan go far. He served the pokemon Divisions with great devotion, first as a Vice, later as a Commander and left as Officer of 10th Division after 4 months to build up the Order of Imperium before he became a House General on March 1st, 2018.
From time to time Damage Inc. holds Clan Competitions to determine which Division is the best. Different factors come in to play each time to determine the winner for the competition. The Honor of being the Best Division grants everyone in that Division a Best Division Medal and the Division itself will go down in history.
