3rd Division is an official Division of DI.Community and is part of House Longbow. It was established in September 2012, with Stronghold Kingdoms as their primary game, and is an original member of Battle Group Trident. It saw an inactive period of over a year after their success on SHK's World 8, but was reactivated in April 2016 with the release of Global Conflict 2, and later again in March 2017 (after SHK died out) with Overwatch. 3rd Division has managed to split its Division twice in October and November of 2017, won 1 Clan Competition, and has yet to win a major tournament or achieve Super Division Status.
It is lead by a Division Commander, who is responsible for leading that Division from a tactical standpoint within their particular game, and a Vice, who acts as the 2nd-in-command of the Division and is responsible for managing the respective Division its events and oversee its new members.

Formed in the first week after Damage Inc was founded, 3rd Division was created due to in-game success on Stronghold Kingdoms World 6. 3rd Division however couldn't sustain the requirements to remain compliant and was soon disbanded. It was briefly re-opened in early November 2012 after a merge with Invid's faction, but merged with the other 3 active Divisions DI had at the time soon after. It wasn't until the release of another server (World 7) early in 2013 that 3rd Division would be re-activated. Despite a lack of forward planning and a rushed entrance, Eimsy as Commander and MasterPuha as Vice put up a good fight to try and secure a foothold in this new world. Ultimately overrun and destroyed by old enemies from World 6, their defeat didn't withheld DI from regrouping for a new server.
Around April/May 2013 DI had a chance to redeem themselves. Armed with a proper planned out deployment strategy, LLR was appointed Commander of 3rd Division and together with 2nd Division they secured House 16 upon release of World 8. Due to a huge surge of members wanting to join, morale soared high and the Division began to grow. As DI's expansion continued on World 8, LLR was appointed to an administrative council role, in turn relinquishing his command of 3rd Division. Kronos would be appointed as Commander of 3rd Division a short while later. For the next few months, DI conducted several successful invasions and destroyed multiple enemy clans.
Upon release of a new server, which led to the founding of 4th Division, Isildur99 took over Command from Kronos. Conducting war like clockwork, 3rd Division carried on and dominated World 8 for several months. On September 7th, Rmeresh was appointed the General of Battle Group Trident, consisting of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th Division. Although working together and achieving significant victories in-game, due to attrition and member churn 2nd Division was ordered to merge into 3rd Division by September 15. They in turn were ordered to merge into 2nd Division, which was re-established later on 30 September, and ends the history of 3rd Division on World 8 around mid October 2013.
Half a year later, around the middle of February 2014, LadyBrenza was appointed Commander of 3rd Division and was given orders to deploy into Europe 1 on behalf of DI. Their deployment was successful, thanks to power players such as Strongandbald, and brought DI many new members and a favorable situation within Europe 1. Although no triumphs were achieved, 3rd Division conquered several enemy factions on Europe 1 and remained active until August 2014 when it amalgamated with 5th Division as 1st Division under General Loseeki. Although 3rd Division technically encompassed Community Division during its Dark Ages, we consider it as inactive for simplicity's sake.
It wasn't until 14 April 2016 that 3rd Division would be re-activated again. With LLR at its helm, they ventured into Global Conflict 2. Securing a house and parts of Canada, their deployment went well. At the end of August, Merf took over Command of 3rd Division. Being an inspiration to all her members, she went above and beyond to ensure that communication flow and strategy was at the forefront of everything she did with her Division. Consistently mentoring and guiding her members to improve in-game also improved 3rd Divisions in-game's capability which ensured Damage Inc could hold its own during war times. After 4 months, she moved on to help-out Community Division and Juggernaut took over reigns of the Division. With moderate success in-game and member churn catching up, 3rd Division eventually downgraded to venture on March 6th, 2017.
With new leadership and a different game, 3rd Division was re-activated after an inactive period of 2 months. Despite a predecessors failure, Zezette managed to achieve the honorable status of Division with her Overwatch Venture in May 2017. Being in Command for less than a month, Zezette stepped down in the second week of June. Leaving the Division without a Commander for almost the whole month, OverwatchTho was at last appointed as Commander of 3rd Division on the first of July. With a burning fire to turn 3rd Division around, OverwatchTho was able to secure a Clan Competition (Operation Fireworks) in July 2017, and grew Overwatch monumentally. Being able to lead 3 successful splits during his 6 month tenure, Overwatch became the #1 most played game in DI, passing the giant that was League of Legends. From his triumphs and success as Commander of 3rd Division, he would be appointed to House General of House Longbow in December 2017.
Even though OverwatchTho watched over 3rd Division, it struggled to remain one of the most active Divisions in DI. The next Commanders of 3rd Division, eXodus and Mobley, were consequently appointed when the Division was in a bad state, though they were able to bring it back smoothly and stabilize it. Disagreeing with choices of leadership, both of them committed treason against DI and started their own multi-gaming clans in hopes to lead a community of their own. The strength and energy of 3rd Division was however too much for them to break, and both new and experienced officers were able to pull it out of death and back to becoming the giant it once was.
The current Commander of 3rd Division, LightningHawk, has ensured loyalty to DI with her Division members, and has grown a solid core of players, while also establishing high-elo teams for competitive play. Her loyalty is no question, as she ascended into the First 9 in May 2018, being one of the oldest members still remaining in DI. Expectations are high, but LightningHawk has stepped up to the call and made 3rd Division a force to be reckoned with.
The 3rd Division has been the pinnacle of Overwatch’s success in DI, while also having deep roots tracing back to Stronghold Kingdoms. 3rd Division's members are fierce, and will stop at nothing to achieve greatness for their Division and Damage Inc.

Her continued determination in keeping values of DI intact, as well as her very motivated and super active persona saw her as instrumental in many campaigns, leading the charge into warzones. She was promoted to Companion for her combat prowess and reliability to deliver decisive blows to the enemy where required, regardless of cost or time required. But she really showed her worth when she was promoted to Captain in the 3rd Division, immediately taking on the task of leading DI's finest into battle. Her ability to organise, motivate and mentor members, made her invaluable to her division. She was then promoted to the post of Vice of the 3rd Division, where she continued to display very adept administration and management skills, crucial to ensuring her division remained in top activity and fighting shape, and kept her Commander well informed of any changes. Due to her immense impact in the early days of the 3rd Division, Nicole will go down in history.
MasterPuha has a long history with Damage Inc, having served as Vice of 3rd Division under the legendary World 7 mission in 2013. He once again took up the call to arms when Damage Inc’s 2nd Division deployed into Island Warfare – SHK in February 2016. His never-ending stamina and perseverance to keep pushing through in the toughest of situations coupled with his approachable and friendly mannerisms that has allowed many initiates to be mentored in the art of war by his battle hardened demeanor has had a pivotal impact on the success of 2nd Division. MasterPuha is a legend in Damage Inc, his loyalty has never been questioned and he has never been afraid to get his hands dirty to help Damage Inc rise to its position that it is today. An inspirational leader and mentor, he is loved by his friends and feared by his enemies, and for this legendary effort, he will always be remembered by the members of Damage Inc.
Merf has been an inspiration to all her members and went above and beyond to ensure that communication flow and strategy was at the forefront of everything she did with her Division. This helped provide the essential foundation for her Team Leaders to build on with their teams and for the members to thrive. Consistently mentoring and guiding her members to improve in-game also improved 3rd Divisions in-game's capability which ensured Damage Inc could hold its own during war times. After her tenure in 3rd Division she moved on the help-out Community Division. As inspirational leader she was able to keep on top of the small things but at the same time gave her officers enough freedom and responsibility to run their own areas. Due to her great achievements in both 3rd Division and Community Division she got recognized for her ability to lead and spent her 5 last months as officer as Legion Commander of Legion Trident. With her initiative and ability to get things done, Merf has been a stable factor to ensure that our standards across the divisions remained high.
Ever since he became Commander of 3rd Division, OverwatchTho turned Overwatch into one of DI's main games in the span of a few months. Before his arrival Overwatch was faltering with no clear light at the end of the tunnel. Not only did he revived the once legendary 3rd Division, he also pioneered multiple splits. While maintaining a stable core of officers and aiming to keep 50+ members himself, he made Overwatch the #1 played game in the entire clan as of 2017. With his unrivaled commitment, he also managed to win Operation Fireworks in August 2017. By carrying these legendary achievements, he was promoted to House General of House Longbow as of January 2018 to bring glory to his House.
From time to time Damage Inc. holds Clan Competitions to determine which Division is the best. Different factors come in to play each time to determine the winner for the competition. The Honor of being the Best Division grants everyone in that Division a Best Division Medal and the Division itself will go down in history.
